Tradition, spirit,
and soul.

The inspiration for the name Rozz comes from that Mexican pink color that surrounds our culture, our textile landscapes, architecture and art. It is that color that reminds us of Mexico, but that is also representative of women and their struggles, which in Japan serves as a nostalgic symbol of the murdered samurai, perceived as a masculine and gloomy color. In Korea it is interpreted as a sign of trust and in Germany as a symbol of tenderness, pacifism and sweetness. Be that as it may, it has been present in our lives for centuries and was not always identified as a color for girls.

Handcrafted with care…and 100% agave.

Our mission is to produce a young mezcal – 100% agave, using a traditional process to offer a drink you´ll enjoy in every sip.

Origin

ROZZ Mezcal is created in San Baltazar Guelavilla, a small town located in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. This area is known for its rich Mezcal culture and history, with many families and communities producing their own Mezcal using a variety of methods.

Maguey

100% Espadín agave. Espadín agave is the most common type of agave used in Mezcal production. It is known for its robust and earthy flavor, and it is often used as a base for other Mezcal varieties. ROZZ Mezcal is made using 100% Espadín agave, giving it a rich and complex flavor, and is crafted to have less of the smokiness found in traditional mezcals.

Maturation

After the Mezcal has been distilled, it is aged in oak barrels for seven years. This allows the flavors to develop and become more complex over time.
